I'm thinking about the wildlife in my garden and around the neighbourhood whilst the usual Nov 5th bombardment happens. Poor things.  It must be terrifying for them all.

My dog's terrified and she's indoors. Haven't seen any badgers or foxes tonight, poor creatures. The whole valley is shaking with crashes, flashes and whizzing noises. I hope nothing sets our roof alight this time. (Last time it was one of those lanterns got a blaze going.)

We've been leaving food out for the foxes recently (now that they've taken the last of our bantams!). One was taking the food this evening when a firework went off a hundred yards or so away. The fox bolted!

There's hardly been a bang here tonight, but I did see a chinese lantern go over when I was out earlier. Tomorrow night will be the biggy I expect. |

Loads of fireworks going off here tonight, the only good thing is the old dogs so deaf now she doesn't notice any more. She uses to hide under the bed whenever fireworks went off. |
