Vince | you have a point vince - ironically Styrborjn made the same point when I had reached the end of my tether with her earlier. tho It could be argued that the total irelevancies frequently posted are disrespectful to those trying to have an inteligent discussion - personally I'm begining to agree with Gill C that Antimarco is doing it deliberately to wind people up
Its probably time this thread was closed as its completely offtopic and people are begining to lose it with one another.

I'm all for a structured debate BUT Just because someone has a different point of view or outlook or belief does not make them unintelligent. I think some of the last few comments have been personal/rude and dare I say it almost ARROGANT.
I think you are right Eeyore this thread should be closed if it carries on in its current vein.
Everyone has a right to a point of view even if that view is somewhat foggy.....

Everyone has a right to a point of view even if that view is somewhat foggy..... | Thing is you are right that everyone is entitled to a point of view - nor does holding a different view make one untilligent - however when someone posts as stated facts, rather than as opinion, statements which are not only vastly inaccurate but so glaringly wrong that even a simple google search would have shown them to be erroneous, it does make one wonder if they are doing it on purpose.
Also antimarco has a history of this kind of post - often not only contradicting others but also her self - for example on a previous thread she posted the idea that giant pandas are becoming endangered not because they eat only one species of bamboo, but because they used to prey on people until they discovered fire - the evidence for that being that they are a type of bear (which technically they are not) - a few weeks later she is posting on the wolf introduction thread saying that bears arent dangerous to people ???
I totally agree with you that she has the right to hold whatever opinion she likes, but equally other posters have the right to think that this opinion is wrong and to argue with it. They(or actually we because i fall into that group) also have a operfect right tofeel a little agreived when thread after thread is dragged off topic into the discussion of irrelevbant or eroneous ideas.
So as far as this thread goes, my view is that I can see why Styrborjn has reached the end of his rope with the hijack of the disccusion he started (if you read back you can see that he has been very patient , more so than me for example ) but equally he, and indeed all of us should stick to the nettiquette guideline of criticising the post, not the poster.
