I don't think you can discuss fossils without discussing geology at some point. It would also allow for discussion of the ancestry of existing species and the relationship between extinct and existing species.
I suppose this has come a long way from pests but if this were framed as a debate, which I suppose it is, I think I'd have to conclude that the original motion, stimulating as it has been, is lost. |
