| | Research Study at Sheffield Hallam University Hello,
I am an MSc student at Sheffield Hallam University, currently undertaking my dissertation which focuses on the attitudes and perceptions of the general public and other stakeholders towards selected species. The main method of data collection is via a questionnaire, I would greatly appreciate it if you could take a bit of your time to answer it.
The questionnaire can be accessed online using the link below. Survey provided by FreeOnlineSurveys.com
It should take between 5 to 10 minutes to complete, the questions are multiple choice with some species pictures to identify.
Please do not worry if you can't identify the species in questions 6-9, just be honest with your answers.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Kind Regards

| | | Re: Research Study at Sheffield Hallam University Jennifer,
I had a look at the survey and noted that quite a few questions had an asterisk against them. I tried really hard, several times, but could find no information whatsoever on what these asterisks mean, or what I was meant to do with them.
I find this "phantom asterisk" thing a very common problem, and my immediate reaction is that if you can't be bothered to proof read your questionaire, then I certainly can't be bothered to fill it in.
Please take this criticism as intended - if you want to be taken seriously in your chosen career then you have to be pedantically serious about the way you conduct your research. |

| There are no multiple choice questions in the survey that that link connects to. Have you another survey in progress that you want us to complete?

I can assure you I have proof read my questionnaire multiple times and performed numerous pilot studies and so far nobody has found this to be an issue.

henrya | Hello Henrya,
Thank you for your feedback. The link I have provided takes you to the correct questionnaire, which contains mostly multiple choice questions.
Cheers,
