| | | Stoned Seagull I went to Hastings this afternoon to get my glasses repaired. Whilst there, we decided to have a sit on the beach as it was such a lovely day.
In front of us was a group of young girls frolicking about at the waters edge, but they got bored of that and started throwing pebble's at a Seagull, they seemed to be having a lot of fun as there was lot's of laughter. They didn't seem to notice us sitting there, but then they did, and they stopped.
If I was on my own, I probably would of picked up a handful of pebbles and hurled them in the direction of the Girls, just to see their reaction, but I was with someone.
I hope these Girls were as ashamed, as they looked. |

as did i, i thought they had discovered some new form of sea WEED, i'd already got my beachwear packed.
a shame that they should spoil, what should have been a great appreciation for their environment, lack of education maybe.
or maybe bad parenting. |

That's right all else fails....blame the parents ...
I cant understand why the seagull didn't just fly off, they normally do as people on the beach in St Ives throw sand to keep them away from food as they steel if from your hand.
They are partial to pasty.. |

| | | Re: Stoned Seagull i hope i'm lucky and have persuaded my 14 year old son that wildlife is good, if i caught him being harmfull to wildlife i would be big enough to admit that i had not done my job properly.
however every other bad thing he does, is totally down to him
selective parenting? i love it. |
