Non from me but our day was made when my good lady and I surprised a Red Squirrel on our walk. It scurried up a tree trunk, only about 2m up, and proceeded to scold us for bothering it.
Oh and our first Fly Agaric's this year....a good day for us too

and the comment on my pics, i think that would of been a fullhouse had i seen a red!! but not much chance of that around here  lucky you..!
still im happy with the kingfisher as it was my 1st! and even tho i didnt get much of a pic. i will defo be going back soon armed with my bigger lens!! |

Guy | yeah the flock was alot bigger aswell just couldnt fit them all in
well i found the great green bush cricket in some bramble and couldnt believe the size of the thing, nearly the size of my hand!

The goldfinch seems to be the most common bird in my garden.
They love sunflower hearts. costs me a fortune but worth it.
a flock is called a charm and they are charming. |

I'm very jealous of the great green - I hear all sorts of crickets 'singing' esp when we hol down south and I've peered and stared into bramble many times and never actually seen what was making the noise - you're very lucky and thats a cracking pic - well done! |
