Last weekend I went to the 80's Rewind Festival in Henley, visiting Ibstone & Turville on the Sunday morning.
Here are just some of the things that caught my eye at the 3 sites.
Red Kite 
Kestrel 
also Hobby, Herring Gull, Black-headed Gull, Coot, Mallard, Bullfinch, Goldfinch, Robin, Blackbird, Woodpigeon, Crow, Magpie, Jackdaw, Rook, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Green Woodpecker, Nuthatch, Swallow, House Martin, Canada Goose, House Sparrow, Collared Dove & Long-tailed Tit.
Common Poppy 
Common Toadflax 
Dark Mullein 
Hedgerow Cranesbill 
Pale Toadflax 
Yarrow 
also Wild Marjoram, Black Knapweed, Hedge Bedstraw & Rosebay Willowherb.
Meadow Brown 
also Green-veined White, Gatekeeper & Painted Lady.
Emporer dragonfly, Brown Hawker & Hawker sp.
7 Spot & Harlequin Ladybird's.
Scaeva pyrastri 
A lovely mix for a wonderful weekend that was a greatly deserved rest & break away from the stresses & strains that the last few years have given me.

Sounds like a perfect weekend. A mix of music and wildlife is a dream mix for me too.

Oh yes, an impressive list of species too. It makes an interesting diary to record the number of species seen over a short period of time, during different parts of the year.

Great list there! when i went to a festival a few weeks ago, all i saw was wasps, a few hoverflies and about a million grasshoppers and weevils!
there was a good article on countryfile about the effect music festivals have on the environment, very interesting. the organiser of the big chill festival had a very good policy on the sustainability of his festival.
