| | | Re: does someone know what left this poo ?? I must have looked at your image a half dozen times and I would like to suggest that this is caused by a bird. Could be a pigeon that has roosted for sometime after a heavy day of feeding. It is not the standard dropping that a text book might show but then in my experience not all deposits conform to a standard form. The white shown on this sample is typical of the urine marks that often stain bird droppings. I regularly find similar, although somewhat smaller deposits in my bird bath and they are definately made by wood pigeons.
If someone proves me wrong and comes up with a better suggestion I will still die a happy man.

| | | Re: does someone know what left this poo ?? Thank you SO much Healfdan. I've been puzzling for so many days and thought noone was going to be able to help. You're quite possibly right though - there are several pigeons around here and one nested (last year not this) in a conifer quite close to the house. I've not seen a dropping like this before either - very strange. I can't imagine what it must have been eating, poor thing !!!
Thank you so much for your reply. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
