| | | help identifying poo My husband and I noticed some animal poo in our garden near the borders. We live in a built-up area. A neighbour recently installed a water feature so we wondered if this could be toad or frog poo? We are concerned that it might be rat...which wouldn't be good news! Please can anyone help us: I hope the photo's help.

| | | Re: help identifying poo Thank you for your messages. I'm sorry I haven't said that earlier: I've been away on holiday and I just got back now in the dark and rain so I haven't investigated the garden yet. We live in greater London and there aren't that many birds around We get blackbirds, crows, pigeons, bluetits and sparrows and that's about it. I've never seen any thrushes; unfortunately! If it's a hedgehog I'm not certain how he got/gets in...it's a sturdy fence all around the garden as far as I can see.
We've been on holiday in south France where there was plenty of lovely wildlife including buzzards, owls, hummingbird-hawk moths and all sorts. Hmm, back to boring old London now!

| | | Re: help identifying poo Aha, indeed; I'd forgotten about that. Well, that's that solved. Thank you for your help! I'll have to ensure I continue feeding the birds (including some ground stuff for Mr Blackbird) this winter to see if I can encourage other species into the garden. I'm enjoying using this website.
