Question strange beetle
I saw this strange beetle in the garden brownish, hud on head, shield shape, one yellow spot on back and yellow shapes arround the edge. I have looked on web and it looks like the stink beetle but do we have them in the uk ?

Sounds like one of the shield bugs - Pentatomidae - worth scanning through the galleries.

Had the very same in the lounge the other night and just seen one whilst watering the garden.
