Can I come and bite you??
Seriously though, I hope your antibugs kick in soon and your hand is soon better. I have been bitten mercilessly whilst in Wales I have 6 huge and angry lumps on my back and arms. My Dad, who was often working beside me in the garden, was untouched!! |

| | | Re: Beware the Biters! My Bog Myrtle "Stop Bite" repellant is still working well. I went for a walk last week near Lochindorb, an area with loads of clegs, and didn't get bitten. I had a really bad reaction to a bite I got there last year.
I've also been in a couple of other places with clegs about and not been bitten, so I'm hopeful this will solve the problem for me. It also keeps midges off, which don't really bother me much anyway.
I'm going to Mull for a few days in a couple of weeks, so I'll see how well it performs against west coast midges. Unfortunately the one thing it doesn't keep off is ticks, I got a tick bite last Saturday.
As far as sweat flies go, they tend to go for the tallest point, so either walk with some really tall people, or carry something that sticks up above head height.
Regards, Audrey. |

| That explains why I'm plagued with them - I'm 6' 4 1/2' !
