| | | Mysterious yellow deposit I found this on a daffodil leaf. Would it be regurgitated pollen?
No legs!

| | | Re: Mysterious yellow deposit I wonder? It disappeared after a shower of rain, or else something ate it. I prodded it witha pin and it felt fairly solid, and the grainy look made me think of pollen. Haven't seen any more since.

Eventually it would have turned brown. What was the hole like from the pin prick? was it dusty? |

| | | Re: Mysterious yellow deposit I didn't prick it because I thought it might be alive, just pressed and it was fairly solid. Looked at it through magnifying glass and saw the granular look and no legs! It was very fresh and clean, certainly not there the day before.
One of life's sweet mysteries?
