They don't hibernate and I've always got them int he garden - put out some Easter chocy biccys for them over the weekend  They'll be feeding young soon too  If they get used to you feeding them they'll come to name too (just be careful what you name them though, as you'll be calling it out for all to hear!!!!   )

| | | Re: Squirrels In my local park and common here in SW London they seem to be very few at the moment. Normally they come up to look for food, but the one or two that are about seem very wary. Has the cold affected them? |

| | | Re: Squirrels It is very noticable how few there are, but I also noticed that we seem to have many more Canada geese and fewer swans. Although the local authority seem bent on clearing all the shrubbery everywhere (to stop 'lurkers') so the place the swans were nesting last year is now bare |
