| | | Re: Is there a monster in Lochness? I suspect we're about due for another "sighting" from Loch Ness: usually happens shortly before Easter and the start of the tourist season!
A good few years back we were in Ireland, about to leave a B&B in Donegal to head south to the renowned pilgrimage site at Knock. "'Sure and the miracle there's what it's done for the place" said our landlady, crossing herself. Not far removed from what the "Monster" has done for tourism in the Highlands then!

| | | Re: Is there a monster in Lochness? We have a monster living in the canal near us and it steels shopping trollies and bikes to eat, only to find them indigestible and throws them back up half sticking out of the water!
I bet no one else has a monster like this . |

Ooops, sorry I degenerated wizzo .... and that is probably also a description of me after that malt whiskey
Loch Ness is very, very deep and very, very long .... a lot of water for a monster to hide in but you would have thought in our age of science, technology, radar, echo location, etc. that something would have been found by now if it was down there.

Did you see that King Kong film ? Well, what do you think they did with the body when they shot him down off that skyscraper ?
That's right, they stuffed him in a C5 Galaxy cargo jet, flew out to Scotland, and just as everybody was leaving the pubs, they dropped Kong into the Loch.
The local people who saw it happen keep telling us there is a monster in the Loch, but we take no notice because we know they'd all been in the pub.
Elementary dear Watson.

Wild Haggis are far too diffcult to catch, living as they do in the remote mountain areas and the farmed ones are all in fenced enclosures watched over by CCTV.

Neil. | I've always wanted to know...remember that huge pair of gates in King Kong that the natives locked and barred with huge pieces of tree trunk?
Well if he could climb the Empire State Building..how come he couldn't climb over that perishing gate?? | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
