| | | weird droppings overnight Hello everybody, I'm new and very confused as have never joined these things before. Think I have posted already in a wrong thread.............aahhhh
Not sure what I'm doing but would love to know if anyone can identify a mysterious dropping that arrived overnight.
Grey/brown coils about the size of a 50p piece with white in. Over 20 of them in the one area under a bird bath. Large garden with red squirrels and badgers every day but have never been this before. I could send a photo but get the feeling I can't do that???? HELP please before I abandon all |

| | | Re: weird droppings overnight Hello and Welcome, although I am also a Computer Forum ILLITERATE myself, and also a newbie, I thought I would reassure you that on the technical stuff you are not alone. I also can't find my way around without looking down the right hand side of the screen at the existing threads, but I have realised that there is a NEW THREAD button to press if you want to say something that doesn't follow any existing thread. The droppings could be Large snails or similar, but I'm sure theres someone on here with proper knowlege of poos. posie |

| | | Re: weird droppings overnight OK so my first attempt at this was not a roaring success................... I will try and be more interesting. Never seen pigeon poo congregated like this before, sorry to be so dim. Perhaps when I post my magical badger photo's I will be forgiven for my ignorance! |

| | | Re: weird droppings overnight Hi Cazzer,
if you're still experiencing problems uploading your photos, I have just knocked up some instructions with screen-prints, showing one way to upload pics, that might help. For the time being (and I hope the mods don't mind this!), I have uploaded them to my website for you: How to upload photos to the WAB gallery
I hope this helps.
Cheers,
Marc.
p.s. I apologise for the lack of continuity in the instructions - I don't have any photos of dropping on this laptop, so I had to use one of the few pics I have to hand. |

| | | Re: weird droppings overnight About poos, if it is a magpie or similar?
By the way with the photos, Iwill see also the web page suggested because although I did it once, I forgot or I am confused with the different sections, for example one day I wanted to download a fungi photo, I did it but it was erased!! I received a message saying that it was erased by the administrator I really dont understand. |

| | Re: weird droppings overnight Hello .. I can't wait for these POO photos. you said the poo was in coils , well I didn't know that birds pooed in coils,,,maybe I don't know what a 'coil' is but all the birds in this area do plops, splats, or skids, certainly not coils, I await your photos. could you give a description by likening it to something that we know, just while we are waiting for the photos. This is driving me mad, I haven't slept properly since your coil poos appeared.....! ! ! !..... posie |

| | | Re: weird droppings overnight Thanks everybody, what a cool site this is! I have seen amazing wildlife all round the world and really this does not look pidgeon poo to me but I bow to higher beings BUt we do have a rather annoying pair of magpies that have decided to move in, come to think of it.
Will try and get pics on later but off to North Island today (southampton!!) Thanks for advice. It tells me they are loaded and then nothing appears???? Went to Galapagos in Jan so would love to put some of those on too.
My gorgeous woodpeckers have arrived back to feeder this last week too...hooray. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Hybrid Mode |
