back on topic it is true that not all harecoursers are travellers, nor are all travellers hare coursers - illegal hare coursing has strong links to organised crime - on account of the gambling element (as mentioned higher up it is not uncommon for hare coursing to be videoed and the tapes to be then later used fas the basis for illegal gambling events, and that brings in all sorts of badness and neer dowells , including those with guns and the willingness to use them.
