I had a Magpie many years ago, he was called Chack, very intelligent creatures. He bathed in a neighbours fishpond, and dried off in another neighbours greenhouse. All the neighbours loved him apart from next door as the Magpie collected the new and brightly formed rosebuds and kept them on the blokes shed roof with his other sparkly finds.
No.9 Spider | Oooops!
Does anyone know why Magpies are kleptomaniacs concerning all things bright and sparkly?

| | | Re: Bereaved magpies No idea why they collect really. He had numerous pieces of coloured glass along with the neighbours rosebuds. This was over 30 years ago sad realisation sinks in over the lost 20 years - where did they go?. One of the neighbours also came to the house one day with a dead juvenile Thrush that Chack had killed. Funny also that I've shot a few over the years!

pretty much the same as me but on the up side. because they believe that animals can't go to heaven then they must go to hell so if they are correct we will all be happily surrounded by all the animals in hell | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
