a soft cover book,the first book devoted to a single species ,covering 15 years of observations(his other highly acclaimed book was Badgers Without Bias) |

The readers digest have a general wildlife book on sale I have not seen it but am told it is a good starter book |

i have the readers digeast book it is basic but a good all rounder.
i have just purchased a new bird book and its great! its the collins bird guide, the most complete feild guide to the birds of brtain and europe.
