| | | Swordfish in Scotland On the Scottish News on BBC an angler on the River Forth has landed a Swordfish ,is this due to climate change or did it lose its way  said he is going to put it on the barbi fish wil;l rot by the time we get the weather

| | | Re: Swordfish in Scotland things are changing here too, bill . spotted guillimots,which usually are further out around Mull, in loch leven chasing the herring fry ,about two ,three weeks ago .i remember being told that this happened before over thirty years ago , deffinately something's happenning ,natures the first to adapt to changes!!

Anyway back to the swordfish, I hadn't heard about this Bill. I believe the temperature of the water around there has risen by about two degrees in the past twenty years, if my memory is wrong re this someone will correct me  The angler concerned must have been very puzzled when he reeled in a swordfish! climate change is very worrying

However, this animal was certainly lost because most are found in deep water and often at the edge of the continental shelf.
