| | | Is this pooh?? LOL I saw this on a moorland path on the way up to Lost Lad (near Derwent Edge)....and haven't got a clue what it is!
It's not pooh that I've ever seen before - and I'm not even sure if it IS pooh!
I thought it may be a dogs.....but it just doesn't look right. It had a sort of silky shiny look to it! I wasn't about to get down on my hands and knees to get a good whiff either!
Anybody any ideas??
Sorry one 'lump' is a bit blurred

| | | Re: Is this pooh?? LOL When IDing droppings, sometimes it helps to have a good sniff! This would certainly have confirmed what it was (it looks like droppings to me though). And there are lots signs of animal activity nearby and underneath. |

| | | Re: Is this pooh?? LOL What time of the year was this found? If it was spring or early summer, it might be young bird or young animal poo like a grouse or a fox cub. Their poos can tend to be a bit 'liquidy' sometimes as their digestive systems settle down and learn to deal with varied diets ! |
