| | | cooking programme busy watching bbc tv --some inner city cook type showing you how to cook(derrr!) using things you have grown in garden--so-called 'making it up as you go along'-except he's giving you recipes?????????
but whats really bugging me is he's blamed squirrels for eating his plums, foxes for eating his courgettes and garlic(complete with film of them sunbathing in neighbours garden) and snails eating his greens.
not really helping the wildlife case then......

Have you seen the daily prog called '4 ingredients'?
Here's their recipe for a 3 ingredient fruit cake.
Soak 2cups of dried fruit overnight in 2cups of fruit juice, (your choice), fold in 2cups of self raising flour, put in a greased tin. Bake at 125c for 2 hours.
I haven't tried this Australian recipe 'cos it seems strange without eggs or butter. |

Friend of mine tried it with same doubt as you, but works tried some, it was excellent. May have a go myself soon as I figure out how to switch the cooker on!

Tell your friend I said thank heavens for food pioneers. They wouldn't have tried the apricot chicken by any chance? |

dickybird | Sounds to me like he really doesn't know a lot about his garden or the wildlife living around there, Foxes eating Garlic ??? Don't think so! Perhaps he should get out there and PICK the stuff!
Here's a 'made up at the moment' recipe, go into garden, pick stuff, cook it, eat it!
Great recipes like; "stir fried whatever is ripe at the time"!
