The only word that comes to mind is WHY? I just dont understand what anyone could possibly achieve or gain out of doing this. I wish I has been there when they did it  |

Probably gang culture with youths trying to impress their mates, and they would never do it if they were on their own.
It happened in my village where four youths nailed a live cat to a door. They were all fourteen and had to be sent to stay with relatives outwith the village as they were about to be shown what being nailed to a door was like by a mob of villagers, they still aint back.
