Friday 6th October programmes which I recommend to watch are:

Flying with Falcons (Channel 5) 7.30-8.30pm. A documentary attempting to capture the amazing stoop of a peregrine on camera, and also to measure just how fast the falcon can dive while it is stooping. Should be a very fascinating programme.

Galapagos (BBC2) 9.00-9.50pm. The second in a three-part series following the wildlife on the islands of the Galapagos. From the makers of Planet Earth. I watched the first programme last Friday and some of the scenes were absolutely breathtaking e.g. the blue-footed boobies diving for fish.

The Rabbits of Skomer (BBC2) 9.50-10.00pm. After Galapagos is a repeat of the ten-minute programme on the bunnies of Skomer which happily mix with the seabirds on this beautiful island paradise off the south-west coast of Wales.
