I had contact with Gordon , (see earlier in thread) and he told me Haslingden was nearest for Adders that he knew, not round here!
I would love to see them here, but I dont know anyone reliable who has, but if we all keep looking this summer, hopefully......................

| | | Re: What different kinds of animals should i be able to find in Saddleworth I was sent a picture last but one summer of an Adder in the Dovestones area - the trouble is the same as the populations in Rochdale and Bury, they are small and in a massive area.
Hopefully next year though will be fruitful!
