I'd like YouTube named and shamed. The idea of some yobs kicking a hedgehog and then putting the video up for others to 'admire' makes me sick. | What the hell is wrong with people? And I cannot understand the likes of YouTube not giving a damn.
Let's hope the paper give YouTube a torrid time, they deserve a verbal kicking for this.

| | | Re: Animal cruelty videos on YouTube - can we all report them? I did consider contacting 'The One Show', Shirl - again it seemed like the kind of item they might use - but then I thought if these clips were featured on mainstream tv it might encourage some people to copy the films/activities.
My thought re the Express was that it's a high circulation paper, so has a bit of clout in that respect, but it's read by a fairly specific group who'd be unlikely to copy that kind of behaviour. |

| | | Re: Animal cruelty videos on YouTube - can we all report them? I have mailed the Head Office of The wildlife Trust to ask if they may have any ideas or clout to put pressure on You tube to remove all Animal Cruelty Videos.
Have sited dogs/voles and others that have been mentioned.
Maybe they will take a look and be as outraged as we are.
Well done Volewoman for raising this, I for one do not like the idea of people watching these and thinking it is funny, especially the younger generation......

| | | Re: Animal cruelty videos on YouTube - can we all report them? It wouldn't be quite so bad if YouTube would remove them. Why have a flag, with an 'animal cruelty' option, if no one in admin takes any notice of it??? |

Will mail them later....... | I suppose as the RSPCA deal with actual cruelty while the Wildlife Trusts' remit is conservation then that's fair enough.
Want someone else (i.e. me) to email the RSPCA as well? Will it look better coming from several of us or will they think we're spamming them?
