| | | Strange Traps What Poor Creature Are They Intended For Hi,
I live in Berkshire and today walking the dog I noticed around 5 strange traps down the tack I walk. They had oxygen on the ground and tubes leading to some liquid, I couldn't work out how they worked or what they were for?
I know they were traps as they had trap written on them!
Thanks, |

I know that when people are trapping mosquitoes they use canisters of carbon dioxide. Mosquitoes are attracted by CO2 from the breath of animals, and this draws them into the trap.
Just a thought.

There was a grey cannister on the ground, sorry don't know why I said oxygen! probably gas? the cannister was not massive about 14 inches long. Clear tubes leading to a table like structure, which contained a bottle with clear liquid. I guess I could go back and get some pictures!
There were lots of them dotted about and they looked bought and brand new. |
