Beavers are back.

Today, after 400 years, wild beavers are back in Scotland. About time too!

Brown bear would be the last of the large carnivores lost that we would bring back as they are too dangerous. Lynx would be an ideal candidate being secretive, then wolf if we can educate the public enough. Lion may be a felid too far!

Excellent - it must be over 5 years ago that I supported and 'adopted' a beaver for reintro in Knapdale, but theres been so much pratting about................
Its only good.
