| | | One of those lovely weekends...... Ive just got home from visiting my nan who lives in a little village at the foot of the south downs in Sussex. This morning we went for a walk and came across a vixen with 5 absolutely gorgeous cubs. We watched them for about 15 minutes & I seriously could have stayed there all day!! They were so sweet playing together & sunbathing. Was a very lovely morning & I just wanted to share it!! |

I too spent half an hour watching 3 fox cubs and a vixen through my friends digiscope playing and laying in the morning sunshine. They were in a field just adjacent to the boundary of the country park.It was lovely to watch the cubs playfighting and tumbling over each other while "mum"looked on.
Indeed was a lovely start to a lovely walk this morning....

I have never seen cubs in the wild, moments like that stay with you for a long time. |

| | | Re: One of those lovely weekends...... Wow Daisy that sounds amazing. I've only ever seen a lone cub and a small group on another occasion, can still see it in my mind today, as kayleigh said that kind of vision stays with you for a long long time.

I remember a vixen escorting about four cubs through a park and sheltering them in a patch of trees while she disappeared for a short while... yes, very nice animals! |
