Sounds like a memorable visit Daisy. If you are patient you can get close to them. I once saw two cubs playing outside their earth which was dug into an old sea wall. By moving very slowly over about half an hour I managed to get within four yards of them. Then one of them looked me in the eyes and I made the mistake of looking back. They both shot back into the earth. I think if I had averted my eyes I might have got even closer.

I tried to get some photo's but they didn't come out very well. I was still smiling about it today & told everyone at work.....(Im sure they think Im a bit bonkers!!)
