| | | Re: ring necked doves Hi Bugs,
Lucky you.....but I'm just wondering.....do you mean Collared Doves?
They will eat a variety of seeds, grains and fruits (sultanas probably).
Also oats, wheat and barley or even grass seeds.
Hope this helps.
Welcome to WAB BTW! :-)

| | | Re: ring necked doves Ours like sweetcorn. I swear they know when we're having lasagne because they always show up for the sweetcorn - even if you don't see them for the rest of the week!

| | | Re: ring necked doves My old Mam used to call them Ring Doves ,so is it the old name for Collared Doves?
They do seem to like the corn bits out of the bird seed,I love them ,but there's something odd about that display note, sounds very nasal to me. |

| | | Re: ring necked doves I appear to have a 'collared' dove nesting, I initially thought she was a wood pigeon, but I've had a good look at her now......she's been very busy in my garden, back an to from the large conifer. Does this mean she's already carrying? |

Much more likely she was referring to Wood Pigeons.
