its about time!,

ive seen too much of this happening and the walkers dont care,maybe they will now.

There's no excuse for releasing a dog on nature reserves during the breeding season. These places usually allow dogs, but only on leads and the rules are well posted throughout reserves.

There was a recent incident in the Bolton area where a being walked off the lead through a community farm savaged a deer. Amazingly, the two women did a runner, leaving the dog behind - so much for being any kind of animal lovers. It is not just the actual cruelty either because the women were walking across the land on a public footpath and should have known that they are not allowed to let a dog roam off the path in the first place.

Another incident at the RSPB's The Lodge reserve had a family in the hide and a small dog busying itself chasing the sheep around outside. Then people wonder why dogs are banned on so many reserves.

I hope this sends a message. On my way home today a dog was disturbing breeding toads, and ive seen dogs running around the North Kent Saltmarshes and Oare scaring all the birds

Not the dogs fault Ukwildlifeo but the owners, for allowing it to happen.

I know Ukwildlifeo just sticking up for the dogs I get so angry at some owners.

I can understand - I feel sorry for the owners of the dogs on leads who then have to fend off someone else's dog while the owner just stands there shouting from afar, if they do anything at all
