| | | Snail Moving....! Ive been replacing the garden fence today & when I moved an old concrete post I found lots (& I do mean lots!) of snails that were very stuck together....., I carefully took them off the post and moved them to another part of the garden. Im hoping this wont have caused any problems for the snails..... Is it ok to have moved them? |

| | | Re: Snail Moving....! Yep! Some snails have already been disturbed by me. Physically I mean, a Rotund Disc and a Glass snail. They will simply re-seal the hole ( lazy gits ) and sleep again, or move off and feed ( on your plants) - I think they'll take the latter option as it's getting milder now. You won't have harmed them |

| | | Re: Snail Moving....! Thanks.... I was a bit worried about them (sad but true!!). This fence is taking so long because I keep stopping to pick up the worms & other wiggly things (dont know technical terms!!) and move them to a safer place...., Im beginning to drive myself slightly mad...! |

Digging in the garden at my parents I took a good swing with his when I hit a rock and the handle broke, sending the head whizzing past his ear and imbedding itself into the fence with an audible THUNK!
I was quite impressed, he on the other hand refused to see the funny side. I don't know you try to give a chap a pierced ear on one occasion and he never lets you hear the end of it. |

Ha ha ha ha, love it,..... Im banned from using any type of 'tool', I like to think Im being helpful but others dont seem so impressed..... at least yr dad let you TRY....., mine used to send me off to look for the 'red handles screwdriver'.... its only recently he let on that there was no such thing in his tool box, he just wanted shot of me....!! Charming eh? I can now blame my traumatic childhood for my lack of 'tool box' skills..... | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
