As a somewhat strange person  I have a small collection of bird and mammal skulls that I've picked up here and there.
As the thread title says, can you identify the skull. I'll post the answer and the next one in a day or two.
Number one.
Found on the Island of Arran. Length approximately 180mm |

You are all spot on with gannet of course. I thought I'd start with a nice easy one.
As you were so quick here's number two. This may be a bit trickier though. As you can see, it was badly damaged when I found it. It came from mid-Wales near Welshpool and is about 80mm long. |
