| | | Re: Slightly morbid quiz - name that skull The thing you never see with a live owl is what is beneath the facial disk. I have had the unfortunate chance to handle a very recently killed Barn Owl, the feather structure is amazing, very stiff feathers defining the eye disks.
The thing that makes me think Tawny Owl is the eye size, bigger than the brain probably.
