| | | Can you suggest some eco-friendly gifts? Next week it’s my good friend's birthday. I want to gift him something that he will cherish forever. He is a hard core environmentalist and wants stuff that is eco- friendly. I am running out of ideas, any suggestions?? |

| | | Re: Can you suggest some eco-friendly gifts? What about something for his garden? A tree or shrub for him to plant might be a nice idea and will (should) last for years to come.
Will be nice for you both to watch it grow and develop too......rather like a good friendship.

| | | Re: Can you suggest some eco-friendly gifts? How about a mobile made of natural objects, shells, fir cones, interestingly shaped twigs, etc? Or if you have time, home-made paper not only recycles unwanted paper it also makes a great gift (and then your friend will have to write you a thankyou letter). It's actually quite easy to make.
Of course, you can't go wrong with a good book, and there's no shortage of ones about the environment. |

I should think most hardcore environmentalists would most appreciate you doing, or not doing any longer, something they consider damaging.
Perhaps you could decree to change a bad habit of a lifetime as your gift. That really would be something for you both to appreciate. |

And/or name a tree or multiple trees in his honor from the woodland trust website. Goes from £15 to £60.

(And he would never forget you then of course ) https://secure.wwf.org.uk/adoption/s...an%20elephant/
You could give him the first 6 months adoption then he could continue it if he wishes |
