Just read this on my local news website, Lincs FM.. an un-identified 'large' footprint, possible 'big cat' what do people think? |

The long shape and claws suggest dog. Cat prints usually dont register claw prints and if they do they are positioned differently. The back pad looks very long for a cat. Cat prints are always very rounded. |

People like a mystery or some excitement so often something quite trivial is blown out of context by the press etc. |

Well, it looks a bit like it has been carved out of the snow into that shape, looks like a hoax to me. Surely there would be a lot of other prints too? And airfields are usually enclosed, so how did it get in/ out? What is the setting/ surrounding landscape like? 
. There's a talk being given in a local village hall in a couple of weeks called "Big Cats of Gloucestershire and Britain". Hmmm... |

looks interesting obviously very big as to whether its a fake or not? looks real to me though hope it is too fascinating to think something that big is surviving and rarely being spotted
