Saw my first Sand Martin of 2009 this afternoon, my earliest ever by three days!

The great Crested Grebes are also starting to display.

hi , sand martins--gosh , thats early ! we get them at sandwell valley but havent arrived yet as far as i know ,havent been up there for a while . 2 mistles were on the lawn a few mins ago . sue
