and I agree! I hate it when little kids are running all over zoos and nature reserves scaring the birds with their hollers and screams | I hope you have a good time then

| | | Re: Zoo's in Winter We went to our local zoo (Marwell) a couple of weeks ago and all the animals were out and about, but what could be more at home in this weather than (my fave) a snow leopard.
She caught a rook whilst we were watching her and brought it to within a couple of feet of us to eat it. She picked all the meat off and left the bones clean and whole.
Well worth a cold winters visit and we won't leave it so long next time.
Regards
Rob

| | | Re: Zoo's in Winter As Rob said we went to Marwell Zoo in Hampshire to try out our new lenses and it was brilliant we arrived at 10am as it opened and left at 4pm as it closed It was a wonderful opportunity to practise with the cameras and most of the animals were about and there are lots of them to photograph without cage wires and glass screens but even those with cages/screens can be successfully photographed with a bit of practise i would definately reccomend it for a change from natural rural walks although they are my favourites
