I want to help - but who?

I want to spend some of my spare time at the weekend to help local charities but I'm finding it hard to locate local animal rescue charties in Hertfordshire and Eessex.

I'm more concerned about rescue animals/wildlife such as foxes, badgers etc etc.

Does anyone know of any local charites that could do with someone to lead a hand whether its manual labour, maintence, caring for the animals or even an animal ambulance?

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Hi Chris

You could try the Herts & Middx Badger Group (hmbadgergroup.org.uk), they have a rehabilitation centre in Herts. If you look on badger.org.uk (badger trust) there are also 4 groups in Essex .There is a wildlife rescue centre (all wildlife including fox/badgers) in South Essex if that's any help southessexwildlife.org.

Thanks, its a great site.

It should come in handy and it's even tempting me to chuck in my professional construction industry career and do something much more worth while instead.
