henrya | I agree, with henrya. I'd plant some in 12" plant pots and bury them in the ground, the pots will stop the rhizomes from spreading!
I have also posted you a link to a supplier of stinging nettles.

I already get shedloads of peacocks and 'shells... I just noticed there isn't really anywhere around where they can lay their eggses...

| | | Re: Log pile ... As for getting logs, the tree surgeon that did some work in our garden recently says he has difficulty getting rid of them these days, as there are few people who want them. He was very pleased that we wanted to keep ours after the tree came down, and obligingly cut them up into suitable lengths for us.
