| | | Spring's coming!! Today I saw the green shoots of daffodils pushing up through the soil in someone's garden. It is the first time I have seen them this winter (apart from the ones I am forcing in a pot).
It's great to know that even while the nights are getting longer old Mrs Nature is busy working away in the soil making sure we get a good show next year!! Hurrah!
Please post your signs of spring here. |

| OK, I'll try to imagine we had a great summer and this cold, wet, miserable (oops, did I say miserable, meant to say refreshing) weather is a welcome change from all those glorious dry, warm, sunny days we had just a few short months ago.

The shortest day is at the Winter Solstice, but the sunrise after that date continues to get later and later for many days. I wonder if this date is something to do with that? The day that sunset is the earliest might be the 15 th
