| | | Unseasonable Touch Of Summer HI Wildlife Fans,
It was sunny in Edinburgh this morning and I was working in someones garden which is a bit if a suntrap There was a large Mahonia bush covered in masses of lovely yellow flowers which were eagerly appreciated by dozons of appearantly healthy Honeybees,Wasps and Beeflies. No Bumbles Bees or Hoverflies unfortunatly. I wouldent say there were swarming but it was nice to see them and it wasent bad for the middle of november.I miss the summer.
Regards Les. |

| | | Re: Unseasonable Touch Of Summer Warm and sheltered ivy flowers at this time of year are the same - thronged with bees and wasps - makes you wonder where they have come from and how they manage to still be alive this late in the season - it is nice to see insects........
