By the way. I have a draft text of a "Young Wildlife Explorer" on hoverflies - this is a developing idea with Wildguides. What we are aiming at is a guide that introduces the youn g reader to the commoner animals and plants that occur in parks and gardens - a sort of modern version of the Observer books.

I did a little one 2 years ago. Today I have just bought 1 diary exclusively for that. I think you must be very organised and have the time and space to do it. |

Roger | Any more details Roger on the new book? Is it primarily an ID guide-photos/illustrations? Sounds as though it's a book to look out for. |

No details yet. The Young explorere will not cover more than 60 species. Wildguide will do 150. However, neither will be completely authoritative - for that you need proper reference to the key in Stubbs and Falk, or to Van Veen. This won't provide a photo identification guide as such things are NOT possible.
