| | | carpet beetles/wooley bears-help please Hi,
thanks for accepting me on this website.
i would like some advice please.
i moved into my house and after about 6 months(ish) i had a bout of the carpet beetle. not knowing what they were i was quite shocked...
anyway i got rid of them - sprays, cleaning every day spending a fortune on these sprays as they dont last long then no sight for a couple of months except now im seeing a few wooley bears - not a lot but i would just like to know is this the start of the next bout of beetle?? even in Oct/Nov??
Also would my previous owners known about this?
Also will i ever be bug free ?? is there a 'cure'
I wil appreicate any comments, thanks so much

When treating the house after our cat got fleas, we got an expensive, specialist spray (on "prescription") which was far better and more effective than the one from the high street. This one did last. We have not had a problem since.
So maybe you can think about a different product, and maybe get some expert advice.
The insects feed on organic matter. I wonder if there is a source of "food" you can identify and dispose of? Cleaning behind the cooker seems to be advisable.
Best wishes with your problem, hope you get it sorted,
Hedge

| | | Re: carpet beetles/wooley bears-help please Yes, bugzgirly, I've heard people on other threads say the same thing, that they don't have a carpet, and can't source the infestation. Strange things Carpet Beetles
Good luck with them.
