| | | Our Green Team We are holding a presentation for our students (16-19) to try and get them interested and become actively involved in helping the College Green Team to re-cycle, save energy, etc.
However, we need a catchy and relevant song to be played in the background and wondered if anyone had any ideas? The difficulty we come across is a song that students of this age group will know or one that is instantly recognised as a kind of 'green' song.
Thanks |

Thanks | what about the theme tune to the BBC series Planet Earth? It got quite high up in the charts too and is instantly recognisable and already associated with the earh and it's beauty. Artist: Sigur Ros, track: Hoppipolla |

| | | Re: Our Green Team There's always "Big Yellow Taxi", recently covered by Counting Crows? Hey farmer, farmer, put away your DDT
I don't care about spots on my apples,
Leave me the birds and the bees - please
Don't it always seem to go
That you don't know what you got till it's gone
They paved paradise and put up a parking lot
Hey now, they've paved paradise to put up a parking lot
Why not?
