Anyone else letting their lawns grow?

Great to know there are similar minded people out there! We've let our lawn grow and we have bees on the clover, spiders in the plantain as well as grasshoppers. Now that used to be the sound of summers.

I did not bring them in and my neighbours certainly do not have long grass.

The only bad thing is that one attacked a gooseberry bush the other day - I put him on the lawn where his food is.

I hate to see manicured weed free lawns, ours are full of Clover, Daisies etc and although we do mow it we leave patches large uncut where the grandkids don't run around so the bees etc can enjoy the flowers
