It was a beautiful morning in our neck of the wood yesterday. The sun was shining, a gentle breeze, the smell of fresh mown hay. One of those mornings when it is especially nice to be out.
I took the dog for his run and everywhere, there where masses of butterflies.
Mostly pretty common ones I think and I took a few snaps.
As I am a complete beginner at photography I was interested to see how the blurring of the background seems to have the effect of making the subject stand out in the shot, almost 3 D.
I must experiment some more.
My wife came along with her little Olympus pocket camera and took an interesting picture of a Bee with masses of pollen over it.
Proves you dont need the big expensive equipment all the time.
