Mystery Eggs
Whilst harvesting my second early spuds today (grown in feed sacks due to eel worm problems) I came across this cluster of eggs.

Its got me totally beat - it must have been laid in the top of a sack 3' from the ground. I added the pound coin for a sense of scale - sadly my money plants all failed again this year



Please, please, put me out of my misery...what are they ...and do they go well with bacon?

They look just like garden snail eggs.

I caught one such offender at it recently - it was half submerged in one of my vegetable tubs, so I yanked it out, eggs and all.

Don't know how they taste with bacon though...
