There certainly are lots of places around my garden where she can hide them | Lucky you to make such a magic find The mummy hares that I have seen do move the babies about when disturbed and most times leave one per hiding place, they come to feed babbies at least once a day.
To think that such a thing as hare coursing can be tolerated is just beyond belief.Lokking forward to seeing your video

I've wanted to see a hare since I was a kid, and finally (after several decades of waiting!) I've seen two in the last year. They were both beautiful animals - although they didn't quite have the 'aah' factor of your lot. |

There certainly are lots of places around my garden where she can hide them | Don't worry - what you found was a litter of very young leverets. It's perfectly natural for them to disperse shortly after birth, each one going to a different form. That way, if a predator comes along it will - hopefully - only kill one rather than the whole litter.

She is alleged to have been involved in some Hare coursing, the case keeps having to be put forward. That is so strange, I have no idea why this is happening. Oh well, justice will be done. |

| | | Re: A nest of leverets Yes ... what Jonathan says appears to be very true
The better quality photograph of these creatures would incline to show that their fur is still wet, inferring that they had just very recently been born
I hope she didn't shift them into the neighbouring farmer's field, because it is shortly to be cut for silage |
