Hi Tuftie,

I only lived there for four years, we moved back up to Scotland when I was fourteen, so I reckon that was about a hundred years ago We moved to Lancashire when I was a baby, then Shropshire and then back to Scotland. I keep thinking I'd like to take up horse riding, but I never seem to get round to it I must get it sorted out. It must be lovely and peaceful when you go horse riding and you probably see lots of wildlife as well

You seem different somehow?! Can't put my finger on it?! Are you a shape shifter?

You see much more wildlife when you're riding than walking etc as most wildlife doesn't get spooked with horses...though sometimes the horses get spooked by the wildlife!!!

Had a man once ask me directions to the brewery! As we dont have one here I surmised he wanted the Hadleigh in Suffolk. This was on a friday about 4.30pm,he told me he needed to pick up some kegs for a party, which had to be delivered by 6pm.
Had to break the news he was in the wrong place and it would take about one and a half hours to get to Hadleigh in Suffolk-if he was lucky!!!Rush hour traffic is awful round here!!!

Hi Tufftie, I'm with you there! Have seen Badgers and barn owls close up when riding late on summer evenings, on one occassion I could have reached out and touched an owl, we were so close!

I live in Staffordshire and sometimes take horse over to Cannock Chase, quite often have seen deer there.

Tracey
Hi Tracey,
I think the WAB meets are once a year at Thursley there is also one at Priory Water Melton Mowbray Leicestershire, every year...
I think though you can organise a meet in your area and see if you get enough members interested.
